Exercise Improves Quality of Life and Skin

Regular exercise is essential for anyone committed to slowing the aging process. Numerous studies have shown it helps combat the loss of stamina, muscle strength, balance and bone density that come with age, while trimming the waistline, reducing stress and decreasing the risk of many diseases. Staying fit keeps you feeling your best and looking younger longer. Ideally, you should try to maintain 30 to 45 minutes of cardio activity and 10 minutes of resistance training three times a week. Get your heart rate up and make sure you break a sweat, or you won’t get the full benefit of exercising. Also, make a habit of daily stretching to help loosen muscles and reduce the chance of injury. Find an exercise program that works for you. Taking care of your body should be an enjoyable task and not a chore.
