Zia Natural Skincare was founded in 1984, on one simple premise - to offer consumers a natural, healthy alternative to mass-produced skin care products. Many mass-produced products contain harsh ingredients, which are not beneficial and can even irritate the skin.
We set out to change that - one product at a time - by creating therapeutic, naturally based products that really worked.

In 1984, Zia Natural Skincare was started in a San Francisco apartment, with a single product. "Natural" was a new concept then, but people were really beginning to care about the ingredients in their skincare, just as they cared about the ingredients in their food.

Quality Relationships
The more we talked to our customers about our products, the more we realized that they were starving for objective, unbiased information on skin care. People wanted to make choices for themselves on what ingredients to look for and which to avoid. They wanted to know which products were best for their skin type.

As a service to our customers, we began to publish an informational newsletter with skin care tips, ingredient information, and more. Thus was born the beginning of our commitment to provide people with skin care resources and education.

Two Decades of Experience
In twenty years, a lot has changed. From two employees and one product, we have become part of the global Hain Celestial Group - a leading natural and organic packaged goods company - and now include a full line of natural skin care, body care, and cosmetics products.

We no longer work out of a San Francisco apartment, or use a second bedroom as our warehouse. But what hasn't changed is the quality and care we put into our products and the respect and effort we put into our customer relationships.

We grew slowly, one customer at a time, and we can proudly and honestly say that many of our customers have been with us for our entire twenty-four year history. As a result, Zia Natural Skincare is now one of the leading skin care line in the natural products industry.
